THE LEGEND OF TWO BROTHERS
MERCURY–SATURN
In the ancient kingdom of the celestial gods lived two brothers — Mercury and Saturn. The younger brother, Mercury, was known for his lively mind and eloquence. He could talk for hours without stopping, constantly coming up with new ideas and plans. His elder brother Saturn, however, was the embodiment of wisdom and responsibility. His slow but profound thinking always led to the right solution.
One day, the gods entrusted the brothers with building a great temple of knowledge. Mercury immediately set to work, overflowing with ideas and projects. But each of his plans fell apart because it lacked a solid foundation. Seeing this, Saturn suggested a different approach — first to build a foundation from proven truths, and then to raise the walls from structured knowledge.
The brothers began working together. Mercury brought new ideas and concepts, while Saturn selected only the most reliable ones, discarding everything unnecessary. They worked slowly but surely. Every stone in the temple was carefully examined, every thought — structured and organised.
Thus, thanks to Mercury’s quickness and Saturn’s thoroughness, a magnificent temple of knowledge appeared. Its walls were decorated not only with elegant patterns (Mercury’s gift), but also with solid stonework (Saturn’s work). In this temple, anyone could find the truth, because everything was arranged in a clear system, where every piece of knowledge had its place.

Since then, it has been said that when Mercury and Saturn work together, true mastery is born. Their union creates people capable of:

And so this union lives in every person, somewhere creating great works, somewhere teaching us to find a balance between speed of thought and depth of understanding. And while the brothers work together, their temple of knowledge grows stronger, giving the world wisdom tested by time.
